Breve histórico sobre a chegada e fundação do Instituto Social Pax.
Fundada em 1961
Desde a época em que as IRMÃS MENSAGEIRAS DE SANTA MARIA
chegaram à cidade do Gama, deu-se início a uma corrida contra o tempo com a finalidade de atender as necessidades locais de uma cidade com aproximadamente 30.000 (trinta mil) habitantes e sem nenhuma comunidade religiosa. Dom José Newton, então Arcebispo de Brasília, não hesitou em solicitar à Madre Iria Maciel Pereira e Dom Antônio Campelo Aragão para providenciarem a vinda definitiva das Irmãs, com a finalidade de animação religiosa, catequese, serviço social e quantas obras sociais e educacionais fossem necessárias para o bem-estar comum da comunidade.
Presidente
Maria Ribeiro Cavalcante
Professora de formação, a Irmã Maria Ribeiro Cavalcante, chegou em Brasília-DF em 1988, com objetivo de reerguer a Instituição. Foram muitas batalhas, mas a comunidade deu todo o apoio e o Instituto Social Pax recuperou o seu reconhecimento.
Our community
Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.
We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.
Health & Safety
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our centers have strict guidelines for cleanliness and security and we’re proud to be recognized as a health-and-wellness model for child care centers by the Partnership for a Healthier America.
At Bright Horizons, we make your child’s health and safety our top priority. Our standards are the highest in the industry, meeting or exceeding all local and state guidelines.
All of our early education and preschool centers include:
- Well planned spaces with rounded corners and soft surfaces
- Secure areas that keep children constantly within sight
- Computerized front-desk check-in to ensure security
